TL;DR
In The Healer’s Code method, Master Number 22 is written 22/4 and is never reduced. You find a Life Path 22 by adding every digit of the full birth date in one flat sum. The work is to make a large vision practical, without turning it into pressure or a guarantee about money, health, or fate.

Master Number 22, written 22/4 in The Healer’s Code method, is the Master Builder. It names vision made practical: a large inner picture that wants form you can walk through, not a slogan. You never reduce 22. If the one flat sum of every digit in your full birth date equals 22, your Life Path is 22/4.
The Greek mathematician Pythagoras believed that all things are numbers. Master numbers carry that old idea into a single date.
Use this for self-reflection only. It is not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice, and it does not predict your future. The four master numbers in this method are 11, 22, 33, and 44. You write them master first in slash notation: 11/2, 22/4, 33/6, 44/8. The number after the slash is the ordinary root you would reach if you reduced, which you do not when the total is a master.
You calculate Life Path as one sum of every digit of the full birth date. You do not reduce the month, the day, and the year on their own and then add those three results.
Worked example. Birth date February 2, 1980. Digits: 2, 2, 1, 9, 8, 0. Add them in one line: 2 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 22. The total is 22, so the Life Path is 22/4. Because it landed on 22, you keep the master.
One exception to adding digit by digit: a month of 11, or a day of 11 or 22, counts whole. February 11, 1980 adds the 11th as 11: 2 + 11 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 31, and 3 + 1 = 4. That date is a 4, not a 22.

How do you know 22 is in your Life Path?
You know by arithmetic, not by a feeling that you “should” be a master. Add the month, the day, and the year in one sum, digit by digit, except that a month of 11, or a day of 11 or 22, counts whole. Stop when you have that total.

If the total is 22, you have Life Path 22/4. If the total is 11, 33, or 44, you have that master instead. If the total is any other number, reduce it in the usual Pythagorean way until you reach a single digit, unless you land on a master along the way that this method keeps.
Do not split the date into three mini-totals first. That method can hide a 22 or manufacture one that is not there. The flat sum is the whole point.
Write it 22/4 so you can see both the master charge and the 4-root: structure, work, and foundations. The slash is a reminder, not a reduction.
What does the Master Builder actually mean?
22/4 asks you to take a picture that feels too large and give it a floor, a wall, and a door.

The gift includes the patience to make the dream usable, not only the dream itself.
You may notice this as a pull toward systems, buildings, teams, curricula, or long projects that outlast a mood. The inner image is architectural. You want something that other people can enter.
Honor the 4 in 22/4. Four is labor, sequence, and limits that hold. Without that, 22 stays a sketch. With it, 22 becomes a practice: one drawing, one schedule, one honest constraint at a time.
You do not have to found an empire. You have to let the vision meet materials. Paper, time, a room, a budget you actually have. That meeting is the meaning.

Where else can 22 show up in a chart?
Life Path is the clearest place, because it is the flat sum of the birth date. 22 can also appear when other core numbers, calculated in this same Pythagorean method, total 22 and are kept as 22/4.

If 22 is not your Life Path, you can still meet the Master Builder as a theme in Expression, a cycle, or a personal year, depending on which numbers you are reading. Treat those appearances as weather, not as a second fate.
When 22 is present, look at how it talks to 4 and to 11. 4 wants the plan. 11 wants the flash. 22 is the long corridor between them.
Do not collect masters as trophies. One 22 in a chart is already a full assignment. If you are unsure which number you are holding, go back to the digits and add them again.
What is the strain of 22/4, and how do you work with it this week?
The strain is the gap between the cathedral in your mind and the brick in your hand. 22 can freeze you with scale.

It can also drive you to overbuild, overwork, or demand that life match a blueprint no one else can see.
This week, choose one structure small enough to finish. One page of the plan. One conversation that turns a vision into a date and a task. One limit you keep on purpose.
When the picture swells, return to 4: sleep, meals, a clock, a list with three items. The master is not proved by exhaustion. It is proved by something that stands when you leave the room.
If fear of failing the vision shows up, name it and keep the brick. You are not required to become a symbol. You are invited to build what you can actually tend.
