TL;DR
You compare two charts by calculating each Life Path as one flat sum of every birth-date digit, keeping masters 11, 22, 33, and 44 unreduced, then reading Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, and Birth Day the same way. Harmony is shared pace or complementary strength. Friction is different tempo or values. No pairing is doomed; the numbers are a map for how you talk and rest together.

Numerology compatibility in The Healer's Code method is a side-by-side reading of core numbers, especially Life Path, so you can see where two people meet easily and where they will need patience. You add every digit of each full birth date in one flat sum. You never reduce month, day, and year as three separate totals. You keep master numbers 11, 22, 33, and 44 unreduced, writing them as 11/2, 22/4, 33/6, or 44/8. Harmony looks like shared pace or complementary strengths. Friction looks like different tempos or values. No pairing is doomed.
The Greek mathematician Pythagoras believed that all things are numbers. Reading two charts side by side applies that old idea to a relationship. Couples do not have to match to work.
Use it for self-reflection between two people. It is not a forecast, and it is not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. You are looking at pattern, not fate. When two Life Paths sit next to each other, ask how each person tends to grow, work, and rest. Then bring in Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, and Birth Day so the picture is more than one number.
If you want a full chart already assembled, you can Get your Soul Blueprint or Shop readings. This week, calculate both Life Paths with the arithmetic below, write them on one page, and talk about one place you already feel ease and one place you already feel stretch.
How do you calculate each Life Path for a compatibility reading?
Treat each birth date as one sum. Add every digit once, except that a month of 11, or a day of 11 or 22, counts whole. If that total is 11, 22, 33, or 44, stop. If it is not, keep adding until you reach a single digit or a master. Write masters with the master first: 11/2, 22/4, 33/6, 44/8.

Take November 2, 1996. November is the 11th month, so it counts as 11, never 1 + 1: 11 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 6 = 38. Thirty-eight is not a master. 3 + 8 = 11. Eleven is a master, so the Life Path is 11/2. Do not reduce it to 2.
Take June 14, 1988. Digits: 6 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 37. Thirty-seven is not a master. 3 + 7 = 10. 1 + 0 = 1. The Life Path is 1.
Do not add month, then day, then year as three reduced numbers. That split method can change the total and can hide a master. The Healer's Code method uses one flat sum so both charts are built the same way before you compare them.
What does it mean when two Life Paths sit next to each other?
Life Path describes the long arc of how you grow. Set two of them side by side and you are asking how those arcs share a road.

A 1 next to an 11/2 often looks like initiative meeting insight. The 1 wants to start. The 11/2 wants to attune. They can help each other if the 1 does not treat sensitivity as delay, and if the 11/2 does not treat action as noise.
Numbers that reduce to the same root (for example 4 and 22/4) often recognize each other's work ethic, even when the master carries a heavier charge. Numbers that sit far apart in pace, such as 5 and 4, often need clearer agreements about change and routine.
You are not scoring a match. You are naming the climate. Read both numbers as teachers, then ask what each person actually does under stress. The chart points. Your week confirms.

Calculate your Life Path Number
Your soul's primary purpose, from your date of birth.
How do Expression, Soul Urge, and Personality numbers enter the picture?
Life Path is the road. Expression is how you build. Soul Urge is what you hunger for. Personality is what the world meets first. Birth Day is a narrower gift inside the month. Compatibility gets honest when these disagree with the Life Path story.

Pythagorean numerology assigns numbers to letters of the name so those name numbers can be calculated (see the letter-to-number chart in standard Pythagorean practice). Still keep masters 11, 22, 33, and 44 unreduced in those totals when they appear.
Two people can share a Life Path and still clash if one Soul Urge wants freedom and the other wants roots. Two people can have different Life Paths and still feel easy if Expression numbers like to collaborate. Personality numbers tell you why first impressions mislead: one of you may present as reserved while the inner numbers are loud.
This week, list all five numbers for each of you in two columns. Circle where they rhyme. Underline where they argue. Talk about one underlined pair before you talk about the rest.
What does harmony look like, and what does friction look like?
Harmony is a workable rhythm, not a carbon copy. You might see two builders (4 and 22/4) finishing what they start, or a 3 and a 5 keeping the house from going quiet. Complementary pairs often trade what the other spends too slowly or too fast.

Friction is a place that needs language, not a verdict. An 8 may measure worth in results while a 9 measures it in release. A 6 may hold the household while a 5 needs the door open. Name the pattern without making it a character flaw.
When a master is in the mix, the volume is higher. An 11/2 can flood a room with feeling. A 22/4 can turn love into a project. A 33/6 can over-give. A 44/8 can over-structure. The other person is not there to fix that charge. They are there to stay in conversation with it.
Why is no pairing doomed?
A chart cannot sentence two people. It can only show the weather they walk in. You can outgrow a clumsy first reading. You can also ignore a clear warning and still choose each other with eyes open.

Compatibility work is useful when it becomes a shared vocabulary: how we rest, how we decide, how we repair. It turns harmful when it becomes a verdict you hide behind. If a number pairing feels heavy, treat it as a question for this month, not a story about the rest of your life.
Keep the method clean so the conversation stays clean. One flat sum. Masters unreduced. No scores. Then live the week and see what the numbers already knew.
